Apparently Songbird in that leather whatever ( Cat Woman suit ??? ) was the 'best' they ( these game makers ) could come up with.
They tried to create something Iconic for the game, but it was relegated to cutscenes - Far less impressive than the Big Daddies opponents in Rapture.
They made humor in RockStar's "GTA : San Andreas" about 'gimp suit', so that coulda been a semi-great 'Easter Egg' connection ( RockStar owns 2K which owned Irrational ... )
SERIOUSLY : Giant Flying ANGEL !!!! How dim was it to NOT come up with something so fitting to Columbia's Faux-Religion strangeness than THAT ??? Instead of something that looks like it came from Hell ???

There was that old game[1] called "Joust" ...
Or Elizabeth could have, in Madcap Adventures around Columbia ...
Part of a general flying around thing which might be a logical expectation for a game in a fricken *FLOATING* City ??? (( But limitations of the programming staff and with the games inability to handle such Player freedom -- Both made sure it didn't happen. )) We didn't even get a proper 'On Rails' 'RollerCoaster' game experience, only some 'Canned' fixed sequences, and those small pathetic level loops - due to the same general shortcomings. It does take real skill to create a game 'with story' which is not a "Player as Cattle, Led by the nose" static Linear Tour, full of repetitive sequences of canned firefights and prattling mannequin NPCs.
Angel Flying -- Kinda like 'Joust' (that old video game). Sad, what 'could have been.' Players fighting with NPC Vox with stolen flying belts ...

The thing kept getting bigger and since it did not have to chase you (freely) through the Halls and Byways of Columbia it could be as big as they wanted. Once Super-human-sized, and not likely to have a human inside it as the Big Daddies had, we no longer know what it is or have as much empathy for it.

Because I WANT computer games to be better than what we typically get from the Game Industry, and perhaps by pointing out ClapTrap like BioShock Infinite, strong criticisms being voiced might serve to SHAME the makers of such substandard games, and MIGHT cause them to DO BETTER in Future.
