If Elizabeth had been obsessed ( If She was a Splicer that would be 'abscessed' ) with the writings of Edgar Allen Poe, and a time-traveling book of H. P. Lovecraft's when she went to 'Paris' in that BaS2 weirdness ( BTW since when does Quantum Physics bring you back to life ?? ), THEN the visit there to "The City of Lights" would have gotten even MORE interesting as it went on ???
Yes, lets make that happen in the MMORPG ( the Player created Sideline Content ) - Lobotomy simulated In-Head Effects(tm) will be anticipated.
WHEN WE THINK ABOUT IT - This idea WOULD have made for a FAR BETTER game than the crap Infinite BS turned out to be[2].

Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda :
Everything that took place in Infinite BS ( all the violence and death ) has no import in the end -- "simply Wave the Hand", and it can all be ALL magically Undone ( a writer's 'cheap-out'/sellout - like having characters just 'Hopping to another dimension'(twice yet), where your problem is solved ).
Elizabeth should have simply Tear'd to 'Nice' Fantasyland Paris from the very start.

Elizabeth Must Learn To Use The Bidet ... :
We can have : Alternate Dimension where Columbia was created by the French, so Elizabeth gets to go to Paris after all ... Except she finds out that there are large parts/aspects of Paris which In-Reality are very Dark, Filthy, and Sinister and Dangerous ( and The French are so Rude !!! ).
Comstock wears a Beret, and forces Elizabeth to eat those thick sauces[3] ( and HE speaks with an Outrageous Accent[4]... And then he taunts her for 'a second time' ... ).
Cornelius_Slate is killed with a long loaf of French Bread ... Very Messy and Shocking ...
We get to see all 'The Social Ills of France' caricatured ( real and imagined ).

WHY DO I BOTHER ?
Because I WANT computer games to be better than what we typically get from the Game Industry, and perhaps by pointing out ClapTrap like BioShock Infinite, strong criticisms being voiced might serve to SHAME the makers of such substandard games, and MIGHT cause them to DO BETTER in Future.
