Funny would have been : The scene she first 'fixes' it, and when 'turning it on' there is an explosion and Elizabeth looks all singed and charred/smoking ( like Daffy Duck/Wile E. Coyote in cartoons ), and says "Well, that wasn't very good, maybe I should read the instructions this time."
But Players ( or the hack/pandering gamemakers ), for the Sake of GETTING BACK TO SHOOTING, expect Fink and Suchong to possess the same amazing 'quantum science abilities in the story ... Cuz ( So we don't have to listen to some long/boring story as they attempt to justify such magical happenings, and DLC Writers don't want to have to skillfully expend Time and Effort making it halfway plausible ).

WHY DO I BOTHER ?
Because I WANT computer games to be better than what we typically get from the Game Industry, and perhaps by pointing out ClapTrap like BioShock Infinite, strong criticisms being voiced might serve to SHAME the makers of such substandard games, and MIGHT cause them to DO BETTER in Future.
